Ravinder successfully completed his Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in 1990 and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1991. Ravinder was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia and is fluent in English and Punjabi.
In May 1991 Ravinder began his legal career working at the Downtown Vancouver law firm, Fraser and Company LLP. From 1998 to 2013 Ravinder was a Partner at Fraser and Company LLP primarily practicing in the areas of Family Law, Commercial Civil Litigation, and Personal Injury.
Since 2013 Ravinder has operated as a sole practitioner providing legal services in, Family law, Civil litigation, Personal Injury, and Creditor Remedies. He represents clients in Provincial, Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal. In addition, Ravinder encourages negotiated settlements for clients through mediation and other forms of Alternate Dispute Resolution.
Ashley A. Athwal, BA., LL.B.

Ashley was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2017 after successfully completing Canadian LL.B. requirement through the National Committee of Accreditation, Ottawa.
Ashley was born and raised in Surrey, British Columbia. After graduating from Earl Marriott Secondary, she attended Simon Fraser University and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree. Ashley completed her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Newcastle (Australia) in 2014 and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia.
While attending law school Ashley was apart of the Law Student’s Association. In addition, Ashley gained experience in family and criminal law while working at the University’s Legal Centre and Newcastle Legal Aid Centre. She returned to British Columbia to complete her articles with Virk Law Group, under the supervision of Ravinder Uppal in 2016.
Ashley now operates as a sole practitioner representing her clients in Provincial and Supreme Court matters. Her practice areas are:
